Him being outside, with all the problems and mind labyrints, made him feel a constant rush of adrenaline, felt life rushing and needing him, making him the man, the decider, the sacrificer, the provider, the defender.
Coming "home" to her arms and care, stopped being this cool Oasis to relax, breath and get strength and changed him. He started to become paralized, was like... hitting the ground, away from life.
She tried everything, was always there for him, always listened, supported his decisions and did everything in her power to help. He submitted, didn't even disagree at anytime.
One day she woke up and he wasn't there any more... It's not that she did something wrong... she just was too much and too good and he wasn't used to it... and couldn't get used to it... it was easier to turn his back and accept pain as his companion.
