Shadow of an Angel
(another fantasy story)

Tonight her soul speaks through confusing words… emotions locked in an empty body, in an empty room, with no one around but herself...

She's in the middle of nowhere, her body is hollow and feeling alone... once more... in an empty room… so she looks around in hope to feel his warmth again by her side…  see him once more...

She hears his voice, with words that speak right to her heart… maybe she’s dreaming but she wishes to see his eyes before she goes to sleep and feel his warm embrace…

He tells her “I want to feel love and I hope that I will find it because I’m so tired of being hurt… so please my angel, do be careful with my heart…”

He kisses her... she’s taken to a place she thought she would never be anymore by the gentle touch of his hand on her face… is this just a dream or is she awake with him next to her?... She thinks she wants to be with him just like this... it gives her a sense of peace... "a faithfull heart makes dreams come true!..."

But all of a sudden he holds her and whispers in her ear “I’m not the one for you… I’m just your imagination playing tricks on you, making you see how special you are… you deserve better than me…”

“If you aren’t real why do I feel you here now? ... Why do I feel so calm and relaxed in your shell? ...” but then when she kisses those lips again he vanishes like a vision and in the end the only real thing in that place is herself… her loneliness… and the empty space by her side…

She guesses she was trying to dream… but then the dream was over and she woke up… and she doesn’t know what to do or say anymore because he’s nowhere to be found… all she sees and feels now is a shadow of him inside her heart…

The angel has fallen down on her knees and feels no strength to flap the wings to rise again… the desire to rise is dormant and waiting for the right words… his words… for now… while a tier roles down her face and she falls asleep...

Black Tulips
Negro de um crescimento sofrido,
mas com razão de existir em contemplação...
torna-se mais fácil a dois...
